“Great Spa Escapes” was launched in 2003 with a double-page editorial spread in the Global Edition of the Financial Times, followed up by a daily competition over a two-week period for FT readers. The Daily Mail acquired the rights to run 10-week series using the content of Great Spa Escapes during 2004. There has also been coverage in The Independent, The Evening Standard, The Mirror, The Telegraph Online, The Times Online, as well The BBC and a number of Internet portals. The value of this media exposure exceeds £2M.

Exploring the contents soon led to confirmation that here is a robust, water resistant, working guide to spa resorts worldwide. This is a book that I would want to frequently refer to and one that would lend itself to being carted around in airline hand baggage and being left in the sun on a poolside recliner.
