Oct 2006; The book was launched at London City Hall and sold out in 5 weeks. It generated worldwide press worth in excess of £3million, and from this dakini launched itself into the climate change sphere.

Oct 2007; in partnership with HSBC and the British Council, dakini organised a summit on climate change in India, including a series of talks by prominent speakers, a workshop for journalists and a Q&A with the author, Paul Brown
Nov 2007; an updated version of the book was published for the US market by Reader's Digest USA, with a foreword by Gerd Leipold, Executive Director Greenpeace International.
2009; Jarrold Calendars created a calendar for 2010 using text and images from Global Warning: Last Chance for Change.
